About the Farm
We moved from the city of Madison WI area to the country in Oconomowoc WI.
We came here for the country air, choosing a healthier lifestyle and started this hobby farm for many reasons. We provide cares and housing in the Madison area for people with disabilities. The Hobby Farm is created for our clients to work and experience the farm life including the animals and the vegetation. It is therepeutic for them and teaches them simple skills and self discipline.
This hobby farm was also created for my children and grand children. A gift of experiences that I pray that they will cherish long after I am gone. The memories that we capture here on our web page is our very own scrap book of experiences. Saving memories filled with happiness and capturing them for a lifetime.
This was for me (Ellen White). All be it I have many reasons for doing this, it also is one of the most selfish things I have ever gifted to myself. It is a dream come true. I am blessed to walk outside every day and visit my animals. Often picking a spot on a pile of hay, reclining on my back and being surrounded by goats, pigs, dogs, puppies, kittens, chickens, geese, ducks and turkeys. It is not uncommon that one of them make it on my lap and they vye for my attention and snuggle time.
This eventually became a gift for you. A place where you can visit and experience these beautiful animals and all of what this hobby farm entails.

What We Do
We are a small hobby farm located in the beautiful Oconomowoc, WI. In addition to myself, my husband, my children and grandbabies – the hobby farm was created to be a place to gather for my friends, families, staff and clients. It is also home to ducks, goats, pigs, dogs, puppies, kittens, geese, turkeys and chickens. We raise registered goats and rescues. We have become a safe landing place for many animals.
To help support the hobby farm we will recieve donations, sell products like soap made from a whiffable essential oil blend infused into saponified olive, coconut, and castor oils and a goat’s milk base. We sell eggs, chickens, chicks and more. We offer a place and unique experiences with our animals for your loved ones or small group for a fee. We will create birthday parties, gender reveals, outings for your kids or clients wih disabilities, a place for a photoshoot and animals for props, and so much more.

We need staff and volunteers for stocking supplies, feeding and watering animals, clean up, maintaining animals with good hygiene, yard work, Garden and staffing parties.

Who We Are
People who love animals, seeking better ways to live off the land, live a healthy life and share and grow with others with the same heart.
I long to grow and share my experience from a well written, creative mind in which I like to share my about life on my hobby farm in Wisconsin. This diary of sorts is a peek into my heart, my family, staff, volunteers and our animals. It is meant to be lovely narration about everything from goats to baby pigs, it will include the trials of rescuing sick animals, the heart break of losing animals we tried to save, to the trials and Joy that weather brings. I will share the things I have learned and the how to's and so much more.
